I'm big on things that do not yet exist but will soon - because if your job involves helping people to think about what comes next, it's also to help them comprehend that often, we sometimes aren't quite as to what comes next!

Hence, my remarks for a conference of career education professionals:

"You need to deliver knowledge that you aren't yet aware of, for jobs that don't yet exist, to a group of people who don't know that they will need it. And you need to do it yesterday!"

And my remarks for a manufacturing conference:

"Companies that don’t yet exist will build products that are not yet conceived, based on ideas that have yet been generated, using materials not yet invented, with manufacturing methods that have not yet been conceived."

Of course, it's an industry-wide trend:

“Industries not yet in existence will bring opportunities not yet defined. Buckle in, observe carefully, and enjoy the ride!”

The issue is the unknown competition:

“If you aren’t worried about your competition, check your assumptions. If you aren’t terrified about those that don’t yet exist, check your pulse!

And they're out there right now!

Original post

“At this very moment, someone somewhere is busy inventing something that will be so common in but 10 short years that you simply won’t know how you lived without it!”

Of course, though, it's the opportunities that are yet to come which are so wonderful!

“With the right attitude, some of the best moments in your life have yet to happen!”

Be like me - live for another time dimension!

Because one thing is for certain - new ideas, concepts, initiatives, and opportunities are right around the corner.

You can watch them happen - or you could decide at this very moment to be someone who helps to make them happen!
